Irene de Cubas Martí is a Civil Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) with specialization in Transport and Infrastructure. She completed her dissertation on the subject “Analysis of Ex-Ante Project Evaluation Guides. Applied case: Tram of Diagonal, Barcelona”. Professionally, she has developed experience in International Projects and has been involved in various transport studies developed on behalf of the Catalan Administration.

She currently works as a research engineer and is part of the Transport Economics department. Some of the main projects she is working as consultant are the “Ex-Post Project Evaluation for infrastructure at the Department” of Territory and Sustainability of the Generalitat of Catalonia, the “The White Paper on Last Mile Distribution” of Metropolitan Transport Authority of Barcelona (ATM), and the “Investment Analysis in the Latin American Transport Sector for 2040” of Development Bank of Latin America (CAF).
