Maurici Hervas

Maurici Hervas is an Industrial Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), specialized in Nuclear Energy. He completed his dissertation on the subject “Feasibility study of an improvement of the environmental radiation detection system applying an anticoincidence configuration” for the government agency Radiological Activities Coordination Service (SCAR).
Professionally he worked in several fields such as a consultancy for Naturgy where he helped automate report generation. In the automotive sector, he worked as production engineer, industrializing new parts, developing quality and cost improvements and ensuring the production plan. Later he was the engineering manager of photovoltaic self-consumption division, performing solar studies and redacting the technical projects.
He has also served as general manager of an import/export company during the COVID-19 pandemic.
He joined Cenit in 2022 as PhD candidate for the Energy transition at the Port of Barcelona.
