Paola Katherine Rodríguez is a Civil Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, Colombia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Transport and Planning from Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), The Netherlands, where she completed her dissertation on the subject “Safety of Pedestrians and Cyclists when Interacting with Self-Driving Vehicles – A Case Study of the WEpods”.
She has professional experience in the Public, Private, and Multilateral Banking sectors. Before joining the team as researcher at the Center for Innovation in Transport (CENIT), Paola worked for the Ministry of Transport of Colombia, the World Bank and the Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C., the United States, supporting the planning and management of transport financing projects; providing technical solutions to achieve efficient, inclusive, and sustainable transportation systems; as well as conducting research and carry out pilots on logistics and the emergence and adoption of new technologies.
