In May 2016, our parent group CIMNE outlined these principles in an equal opportunity plan, with a specific focus on promoting the inclusion of women in scientific research. This initiative aims to catalyze structural and cultural changes within scientific institutions while highlighting the invaluable contributions of women in the field of engineering.
In 2022, CIMNE reaffirmed its commitment to combating gender bias and advancing the role of women within the organisation. This commitment is outlined in the CIMNE Equality Plan 2022-2026, approved by the management team in July 2022.
In order to give voice to the queries and suggestions to achieve improvements in this sense, the centre provides the CIMNE community with a suggestion box.
