TRANSPORTATION INNOVATION
The Center for Innovation in Transport (CENIT) is a research group of the International Center for Numerical Methods in Engineering (CIMNE). CENIT was created in 2001 as a public consortium between the Government of Catalonia (Departament de Territori i Sostenibilitat) and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya-Barcelona Tech (UPC) to centralize expertise in transportation innovation. CENIT became a member of CIMNE in 2017.
CENIT has been consolidated at a local and national level to promote research on transportation and logistics and a think tank on the mobility issues currently influencing our society.
