The aim of this project is to develop a demand study to identify potential customers demand for rail transport services of TCB Railway in a specific area of the Iberian Peninsula and southern of France.
The results achieved show the main factors of business decision to choose the mode of transport used, to identify potential customers and quantify potential traffic volumes. The results also include an analysis of the potential business sectors and a possible offer of value added services by TCB Railway.
For this purpose, there were carried out three different phases: Identify the potential market, analysis of the viability of the use of rail transport services through telephone surveys and, finally, making some series of recommendations and conclusions of business strategies on the rail service is established.
