The main objective of this project was to provide specialized transportation support to achieve a well-articulated viability plan. Detailed interviews of current tram operators from international cities and companies were conducted in: Zaragoza, Barcelona, Company ETRA, Munich, Brussels, Jerusalem, Vienna, Tenerife. A technical document was drawn up with information and recommendations related to transportation vision and strategies, fare collection system, operation and control centres, traffic signal priorities, LRT related regulation, safety management system (SMS), template of incident form and interview sheets.
